Information Leaflets: NICRI provides a range of leaflets which fall into three categories.

1. General Information. These leaflets include information on deeming accounts, investing with safety and complaint resolution schemes.

2. Financial Planning. A small booklet addresses what is involved in selecting a financial planner, what to expect from an interview and how financial planning fees are structured. A handy income and expenditure sheet forms part of the series which is an excellent start to forming a budget.

3. Investment Products. NICRI leaflets cover a wide variety of investment products which are frequently offered to retirees. The leaflets detail the Product, give features and disadvantages and outline the social security / veterans' affairs and taxation consequences of placing the investment.

Telephone Information Line: NICRI operates a tollfree telephone information service which is available between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. The service is open to anyone needing information on investment products, to discuss their financial situation or to obtain details on where to find further assistance. Technical Papers: NICRI currently produces technical papers on superannuation, redundancy and immediate annuities. These papers are designed to provide background information for community workers. The superannuation paper is not available to the public, however, technical papers on immediate annuities and redundancy are available.

Speakers: Staff may be available to speak at conferences or conduct seminars on investing in retirement and redundancy. Arrangements may be made by telephoning the Centre.
