Superannuation is often forgotten or neglected until it is about to be accessed. Preservation rules mean that accessing super benefits isn't allowed until at least age 55, older for people born after 1 July 1960. This and the complex nature of superannuation make it difficult for people to engage in one of the most important investments a person might have in their lifetime. NICRI hopes this website will make it easier for people to understand superannuation and empower them with choices they face relating to super.
